MESIM® is a one-step stretching process which orients the film in MD as well as TD direction at the same time. Furthermore the film surface has no contact to rolls which makes this system the no. 1 choice when it comes to optical films. DMT supplies now the first MESIM® line to Japan for the production of LCD film.

After the highly successful start-up of DMT Machinery the official opening party took place on 24th of July at DMT workshop in Huadu (Guangzhou). About 70 high ranking guests from politics, economic institutions and leading film producers celebrated this event together with DMT's Top Management.

The “Workshop” consists of a team of more than 60 highly skilled employees, both Chinese and European and 5.000 sq meters production facilities. The target is to deliver film stretching lines and biax turnkey solutions for the Chinese plastics film industry.

Brazil based company Videolar is a leading supplier of DVD and CD media. As the market in this business field is changing rapidly, Videolar has decided to expand to the production of BOPP film. The total project consists of 2 lines including infrastructure, of which the first one has become effective now.

DMT and PJ PLC recently signed the biggest Biaxial Stretching Turnkey line for the production of Polyester film in Iran. Proving DMT’s outstanding market position, the annual capacity of 25.000 tpa guarantees customer market leadership especially as it is the 1st line out of an important development into 3 lines in Polyester up to 2014. The start-up of the first production line is scheduled for September 2009. Fast developments of other phases will be in order accordingly.

DMT and SPS recently signed the first Biaxial Stretching Polyester Film Line out of two lines to be placed in Isfahan. SPS has invested in additional land of about 150.000 sqm and Mr.Taki, owner and managing director, has decided to invest an amount of 70 Million Euro for the completion of this project.

As the DMT booth was highly frequented during the show, in many interesting discussions the advantages of DMT's machinery were clearly demonstrated to numerous visitors. Once more DMT proved its knowledge on the film market and its relation to the design of machinery. DMT wants to express deep thanks to all customers and visitors for the friendly atmosphere.

Turkish film producer Polibak was established in 1992 in Izmir and has already three DMT BOPP lines in operation. The first line started in 1993, the second line in 1995 and the third line in 2003.

Already the fourth BOPP line from DMT – full turnkey project !
The now ordered DMT line is a 8.7 m high-speed state-of-art line with an output capacity of about 42.000 tpa, being the most modern and biggest line in Turkey. The project will be realized on a full turnkey basis.
